"Four of us took this day trip to the east side of the island along with three other 4x4s. It was exhilarating and our driver Tony was superb. We saw many sites in the mountains and went off road for a while - fantastic! The Levada walk was full of interest after which we went to a trout fishery where we caught our own fish which was barbecued and was delicious. The owner of the fishery was extremely interesting and informative. We ended up at the eastern most point of the island where there are formiidable cliffs.This is a tour we fully recommend if you are visiting the island.."
