Have you ever been to Arc de Triomphe?

A unique point of view. From the top of the panoramic terrace, the look embraces all of Paris.

The ancient revisited. The architect Jean-François Chalgrin is inspired by the Roman Arch of Titus with a single arch, but emancipated by exceptional dimensions (approximately 50 m high, 45 m long and 22 m wide) and the drop columns.

A Mecca of major national events. Wished by Napoleon I in 1806, the Arc de Triomphe was inaugurated in 1836 by the King of France, Louis-Philippe, who dedicated it to the armies of the Revolution and the Empire. The Unknown Soldier is buried on the median in 1921. The flame of remembrance is revived every day at 18:30.
