Showing 1-8 from 8 tours

Have you ever been to Praia do Carvalho?

Praia do Carvalho got its name because, according to the locals, it was privately owned by a captain whose nickname was Carvalho.
It has a beach of reasonable dimensions in the shape of a shell, surrounded by the cliff in its totality.
In the West zone there is a cave. About 65 meters from the coast, an island is built.
The access is made through a staircase built in two tunnels inside the cliff, making it one of the most exotic beaches in Portugal.

What People Are Saying

★★★★★
"We met at the beach half an hour early, but our guide only needed 10 min to prepare the kayaks, so no need to stress. We had time to eat breakfast at the local café. He was very helpful throughout the day, even though we had rented kayaks without the guide tour. I recommend taking the guide tour because it felt a bit unsafe to go ashore with the waves that day"

"Both the tour guide and the boat driver we’re really nice, and connected with all of us. It was really a great experience, in a major way, made be the staff. And we had the amazing experience to see dolphins during the boat trip. That was a plus!"

"Everything was great! We found easily the guy on the beach to take the kayak and we left on our tour right away. It is very pleasant to be free to organize yourself as you want on the water, thing that you can't do when you are with a guide. A 2h-trip is enough to see the Benagil caves but also other nice caves around and to stop on a beautiful beach only accessible by kayak or boat. I definitely recommend that activity! "
