Your tour on our beautiful sailing boat starts from Vilamoura, and we’ll sail along the coast to Praia de Galé. Get to know the ship, and get ready to see the most fantastic rock formations and charming villages.
The Algarve coast is known for dramatic cliff faces, rock formations, caves and fine sand beaches. And it’s the perfect setting for our sailing ship. If the weather conditions are good, we’ll visit the caves of the coast and you’ll get a time to swim in the ocean.
Our ship is a replica of the American fishing schooners built between 1825 and 1935. She was built in Portugal in 1987 specifically for tourism. The ship is luxuriously equipped with a large air conditioned saloon and bar, and modern navigational and safety equipment. There is plenty of space for sitting on deck or in the bar, and it is ideal for parties and private charters.

How many people does the boat take?
Our catamaran has a capacity for 80 people, so you can invite the whole family!
Is the departure point in the same place as the arrival?
Yes. The boat departs and arrives in the same place.
What should I take to the boat?
Sunscreen is very important, also a hat is desirable because summer temperatures are often above 30 degrees. Bathing suit and towels. Of course, do not forget your camera.

We are a family of four and went on the catamaran. Didn’t feel it was a lesser trip because the sailing yacht was booked up. The staff on shore and the crew were all very friendly and helpful. On the cat the crew would give you snippets of information regarding the coastline. The caves are definitely worth seeing, and a stop for a swim was ideal. The absolute bonus was the dolphins which swam right under us. Amazing to be so close to them especially when they apparently hadn’t been seen for a month. Definitely worth the money, and choose these guys to go with.

Took this 3hour sail from Vilamoura marina and enjoyed every minute.
The dingy trip around caves was quite an adventure but never felt unsafe and well cared for by the crew.
This ship is spotlessly clean and the crew couldn’t be more attentive and helpful.
Highly recommend it and only 18euros for seniors.

As someone who can't swim (or tread water), I am terrified of the sea. My husband on the other hand is practically Capt. Pugwash and loves anything boat/ship related so (as I love the pirate bones of him) we decided to take a 3 hour trip on this boat. After the first 10 minutes of being paralysed with fear when we set sail I decided to be brave and join hubby standing at the bow side - and didn't sit down again as I thoroughly loved it! The crew were lovely and friendly and would come round to speak to everyone and point out the different beaches. After an hour an half the ship anchored to ferry people round the caves in a dinghy, I wasn't brave enough to do that and just stayed on the ship. I'd recommend taking a jumper as on the trip back to the marina it got really cold. I would definitely recommend this trip and it is well worth the money
