Chapada Diamantina: Excursion To The Top Of Fumaça Waterfall From Lençóis

- What To Expect

We left Lençóis to Vale do Capão, totaling 2 hours by car, where we will start a 6 km hike to the top of Cachoeira da Fumaça, one of the highest in Brazil, with about 380 meters of free fall.

Due to the size of the fall, the water returns upwards before touching the ground, a rare phenomenon that generates a fine mist, constantly forming a rainbow in the lush landscape. Upon returning, we will pass by Cachoeira do Riachinho and from there we will return to Lençóis.
