Have you ever been to Deserta Island?

Ilha Deserta (also known as Ilha da Barreta) is an island near Faro. Literally, Ilha Deserta means Deserted Island. This pretty much describes the island, since there are no people who live on this island permanently.
It is the only uninhabited island near Ria Formosa. The only building on this island is a restaurant. In the evening also the people from this restaurant leave the island, making the island truly deserted.

"We spent the whole afternoon on this pleasant boat, visiting 4 interesting islands off the coast of Faro and it was a lovely day. Some islands are almost deserted but most have cute cafeterias to light snacking. Our captain was very knowledgeable & nice guy to be with."
