- What To Expect

You will meet us at the Marina of Vila Franca do Campo for check-in and equipment setup, at the specified time.

The​ ​journey​ ​start​s with​ ​an informative briefing​ ​introducing to​ ​Cetaceans and​ ​local​ ​species. You will then board​ a Zodiac​ ​boat, and our​ ​lookout​ ​high​ ​inland​ ​will​ ​provide​ ​directions​ ​via​ ​VHF​ ​Radio​ ​to​ ​where​ ​the​ ​boat​ ​will​ ​travel - initially at high speed.

While​ ​approaching​ ​our​ ​friends - slowly and very carefully, a knowledgeable guide will keep you informed on​ ​what is being observed,​ ​and​ ​is​ ​always​ ​available for questions throughout​ ​the​ ​expedition.

Upon​ ​return​,​ ​the​ ​boat​ ​will​ ​​tour​ ​around​ ​the​ ​Princess​ ​Ring​ ​Islet​ ​of​ ​Vila​ ​Franca do​ ​Campo,​ ​for​ ​a​ ​close​ ​look​ ​at​ ​the​ ​volcanic​ ​marv
