On this boat trip for birdwatching in the Tagus estuary the natural reserve, the largest in Western Europe and a sanctuary for birds that stop their migrations between northern Europe and Africa. It covers an area of 34,000 ha, including 14,000 hectares of nature reserve, also declared a Special Protection Area for Wild Birds since 1994.
