Amsterdam Urban Adventures – Total Beer Tour! (By Bike, Boat And Foot!)

You will meet the guide at rental bike company to pick up your bike for the first part of the tour. Bike rental is included in tour. This segment is first a fun way to learn how to ride in a city with more bikes on the road then cars. Second it’s an opportunity to do something a beer geek in the city might do. Make a run for the bottle shop. We won’t say who we go visit let’s say it’s a one of a kind. We encourage you to buy a bottle for later but it is not required. Our pleasure is in the exposure of such great businesses. Cycling to and from Amsterdam West we point out various small places all dedicated to beer and our narrative of the neighbourhood, its history and its community feeling.
After 2 hours you bring the bikes back then begins the craft beer tasting segment. One beer at each stop. The beer tour winds in around and through parts of the Red Light stopping at places, which describe and present our current and historic brewing traditions. This will take approximately 2 and half hours as well. 2-3 stops.
By early evening we depart and leave you to enjoy an hour long cruise piloted by a friendly group of local skippers .We believe in supporting local businesses and this team of young entrepreneurs represent the relaxed atmosphere of touring the canals. Their commitment to electric boats, safety, and service matches our goals when it comes to consuming and having fun in Amsterdam. Your boat ride ends next to a Craft Beer Brewery and restaurant just across from central station.
NOTE- In winter months NOV- JAN we would like to run this tour as a Craft Beer and Lights festival tour –
The difference is no bike but a tram to the West and bottle shop. Tickets for trams included. And we would like to Highlight the Festival of Lights, a yearly city event seen best by water.
