Come aboard our catamaran and enjoy a visit to one of the most emblematic natural reserves of the Madeiran archipelago. The tour lasts approximately 9 hours, departing from Funchal Marina. There is a strong possibility of sighting sea-birds and cetaceans during the trip to Desertas Islands.

With a total area of ​​12,586 hectares, the Desertas Islands Natural Reserve includes all the islands and islets (Ilhéu Chão, Deserta Grande, Bugio and adjacent islets) and the entire adjacent marine area. Being called Natural Reserves almost 26 years ago, they are now internationally known for the conservation work of Lobo Marinho.

We stop at Desertas Islands for about 3 hours, where you can take a short guided tour around the Natural Park warden station and have fun swimming in the crystal clear water, observe the bottom with snorkeling equipment provided by the crew, or just try out a stand-up paddle (activities are included).

Lunch will be served aboard and consist of a meat and fish buffet with limited beverages.
