From Kathmandu: Private Tour To Nagarkot Sunrise & Bhaktapur Durbar Square

The tour will last from 5: 30 a.m. to approximately 11 a.m. with drive both ways. Early morning at 5: 30 a.m. our driver will pick you from the hotel lobby for an interesting drive on the outskirt of Kathmandu city heading North East past Bhaktapur city outskirts, as the drive climbs uphill past farm villages to reach at Nagarkot hilltop of 2100 meter high.

Among all the places for mountain viewing in the Kathmandu Valley, Nagarkot, 32 km, is usually considered to be the best. The views go from Dhaulagiri in the west to Kanchenjunga in the east. On a very clear day, you can even see Mount Everest far in the east.

Other majestic peaks that you can view from here are Manaslu (8,463m), Ganesh Himal (7,111m), and Langtang (7,246m). Nagarkot is also famous for super sunrise and sunset views.
