Yangon: 4-Hour Tour To Short Trip Go Local On The Street Of Yangon, Myanmar

Pick up at your hotel in the evening around 4:00 pm and take a local taxi then drive to downtown. Start your walk on the Wardan Street and cross the Strand Road using the bridge where you will see a nice overview of the slowly awaking colourful night market.

Reach Lan Thit jetty where you will see ferry leaving to the other side of village and vendors along the road. Enjoy beautiful scenery of one fine evening. Continue your walk until you arrive the lively night market on the Strand Road and you will pass by many local food, snacks and fruits.

Visit Kheng Hock Keong Chinese Temple. Walk along 18th Street and cross another road to get on unpaved streets lined with old wooden shuttered houses and shop fronts.

Make a stop for drink at famous 19th street. You will have local beer and downtown’s famous delicious barbeques. Table and chairs are put aside the street where you can sit and enjoy your food. Take a table closer to the street and watch the busy waiters, taste the local barbeque and beer and enjoy the nightlife of Yangon like a local.

After that, take a short walk to another Chinese temple called Guang Dong Kwan Yin Temple. Take a taxi and transfer back to your hotel around 8pm.
