Have you ever been to Pico Island?

Pico Island is the second largest island of the Archipelago of the Azores, and owes its name to its majestic volcanic mountain. The mountain of the Pico, affectionately called by the locals of Piquinho, is the highest point of all the Portuguese territory, to 2351 meters of altitude. Cetaceans living in the area are the favorites of tourists on the island, as well as local winemaking. The unique landscape of the Pico vineyards was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2004. From Madalena, your main town, you can discover the secrets of Pico Island.
