About Torre dos Clérigos

The architectural complex of Clerics, considered a National Monument since 1910, is one of the main points of interest for its Tower, Museum and Church, and a must-see location for all those who visit the city of Porto. The church and the Tower are part of a baroque-inspired building from the 18th century, which marked the city's urban configuration, located on an uneven street, but brilliantly used by Nicolau Nasoni, who managed to create a landmark building. The Church and the Tower are adjoined to the House of the Brotherhood, which since 2014, after it became a museum, is open to the public.

"Pedro a été exceptionnel, il est venu nous chercher jusqu’à notre appartement et nous a promener à bord de sa superbe coccinelle pendant 3 heures!! Il nous a montré tous les endroits insolites de porto et nous a raconté toutes les histoires qu’il fallait connaître!! Vraiment mille merci et je le recommande sans soucis dès votre voyage à porto . Et merci aussi pour votre cadeau porte bonheur"
"Our guide, Ricardo, was amazing. He knew so much about the history, food, and Port wine. The tour is an excellent intro into Porto. My advice is to do this tour and take notes on places you might want to spend some extra time the following day. On a personal level, what I really appreciated was when I asked Ricardo some tough questions regarding Portuguese influence regarding colonization; he was honest, open, and didn't shy away from the question. That to me showed a lot of class. Do this tour, you won't regret it!!"
"Could not have been more pleased with this tour. Maria was an outstanding tour guide. She was a joy to be around for the day. Also picked out a great local restaurant for lunch that was included. We were picked up at our hotel and dropped off at the end of the day. I would highly recommend this company and do not hesitate to ask for Maria if available. All of the highlights of the city are included. They no longer visit the famous book store due to incredible demand to visit it. Can you imagine having to buy a ticket just to enter a book store and then stand in line?"
"We were lucky and our tour turned out to be a private tour that day, probably due to the rainy weather. Violet , our guide was funny and engaging, and we enjoyed being with her and learning about Porto. She drove us along the coast and explained the city layout, We visited several beautiful cathedrals and enjoyed seeing the “Harry Potter Bookstore” . We then boarded one of the old wooden boats on the river and toured the bridges, which was followed by a typical Portuguese lunch which was excellent. In the afternoon we enjoyed a port wine tasing at Croft Even though my husband has enjoyed port, we learned much more about it and which types we liked. Violet dropped us back at our hotel about 5 pm and we thoroughly enjoyed our day."
