This is the last camping place residing below Kalapathar (5545 m). The time finally arrives as you will be stepping your step on the iconic base camp of Everest (5365 m). Leave your footprints and take as many pictures as possible. Cherish the moment to the fullest. Early morning sunrise view from Kalapathar will add more gloss to your trekking in Everest region. Trip heads back to Lukla for the flight to Kathmandu following the same trail.

- What Will You Do

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu B.
Day 02: City Sightseeing and Trek Preparation B.B
After enjoying morning breakfast, you will be picked by your guide from the hotel and take around Kathmandu for sightseeing. You will visit world heritage monuments such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Swoyambunat and Bouddhanath. In the evening, our trekking guide will conduct a briefing about the trekking program before dinner. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Phakding via Lukla flight (2,652m) 3 hrs B.B.
Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) 5 - 6 hrs B.B.
Day 05: Namche Bazaar: Rest day B.B.
Day 06: Namche to Tengboche (3,870m): 5 - 6 hrs B.B.
Day 07: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360 m) 5 - 6 hrs B.B.
Day 08: Dingboche Rest Day B.B.
Day 09: Dingboche - Lobuche (4,910) 5-6 hrs B.B.
Day 10: Lobuche to Gorekshep via EBC (5,170m)8-9 hrs B.B.
This is most probably the best section of trekking on this trip. The trail is a bit rocky and challenging as you walk parallele to Khumbu glaciers on your right. The final section involves negotiating your way through big rocks and boulders. Gorakshep is the last village before Everest base camp. Overnight in Gorakshep.
Day 11: Gorekshep to Pheriche Via Kalapatthar (4280 m) 8-9 hrs B.B.
Rise up early, very early in the morning, around 4 am. You will start your trekking in the moonlight as you attempt to scale to the top of Kalapathar. All this effort is required to reach to the top of Kalapathar just at dawn, when the sunlight hits Mt. Everest and what lay infront you is the most stunning and magnificent views of sunrise on Mt. Everest. You will have plenty of time taking clicks before you return to Gorakshep. Have your lunch at Gorakshep and return to Pheriche. Overnight in Pheriche.
Day 12: Pheriche to Namche (3,570m) 5-6 hrs B.B.
Day 13: Namche to Lukla: 6- 8 hrs B.B.
Day 14: Lukla – Kathmandu B.B.
Day 15: Farewell Travel Guest B.
Depending on the time of your departure, our representative will accompany you to Tribhuvan International Airport.
