Have you ever been to Faro?

A popular destination for sun-seekers, Faro has a reputation as being an overrun party beach town for much of the year. Visitors who use it as a base to explore the more remote areas of the Algarve in the off-season will experience much more of what southern Portugal has to offer; but those looking for no more than a tan and cocktails won't be disappointed. In winter, it is a beautiful, peaceful corner of Southern Europe with plenty sun shining in the town with Iberian and Moorish-influenced architecture. The people are more friendly than other parts of Europe. Many speak a bit of English, but are very appreciative of any attempts at Portuguese.

"Cette unité transforme le liège brut en demi-produits qui seront à leur tour transformés en produits finis divers dans d'autres entreprises. La visite est très documentée, ce qui permet de comprendre un métier très peu connu. L'ambiance de la visite est excellente, tout le personnel est attentif à donner les meilleures explications possibles. Visite à recommander tout particulièrement. Raymond et Marie-Jo"

★★★★★
"Did the Ria Formosa tour today with Nelson as our guide. We were a group of 5 and a mix of adults and children (youngest 10). The whole experience was great from start to finish, very welcoming, helped us to build confidence on the segways and took time to point things out, from the white flamingo to the carob to the multitude of golf balls in one area. The ride is really safe and seeing the houses of the rich and famous was really interesting! Everyone in the group loved it and we will definitely be back for one of the other tours next time we are in Portugal. Thank you!"
