Pick up at your hotel to go to the touristic pier “Don Eduardo Arturo Brisighelli” to boad a Catamaran. As we sail away from the coats, enjoy a view of the most important buildings, Maritime Museum (old prison), Museum of the End of the World, industrial area installed from 1980, among others. From this point the landscape will be a combination of sea and mountains. The mounts Olivia, Five Brothers, the Fique and Túnel “estancias” and the Encajonado River can be seen.
The catamaran will take us on a sailing trip in the middle of the Beagle Channel towards the southwest, arriving to the Les Eclaireurs lighthouse at the archipelago that has the same name. In one of these islands it is possible to observe pieces of Monte Cervantes shipwreck . Towards the Seal’s Island it is possible to observe these peculiar sea mammals in their natural habitat. In order for you to get a better observing experience, the catamaran sails around the island for about 20 minutes in complete silence. Then, go towards the Birds Island to see the Magellanic Cormorants, the Imperial Cormorants, the Giant Albatrosses, Petreles Fullman, Petreles, Squas and 20 different species of sea birds. Later, continue to Paso Chico on the way back to Ushuaia with a view of the beautiful Le Martial Mount and its glacier.
