Meet your English-speaking guide at an easy-to-find central location (detailed instructions will be included in your confirmation email immediately sent after booking) walk over to a specialty soup dumpling restaurant in Shanghai’s French Concession by foot.

You’ll enjoy a private cooking studio complete with all of the ingredients and tools you need to create your own Shanghai soup dumplings. Hands-on instruction from both a local chef and your Lost Plate guide, plus a private photographer (no need to touch your own camera with messy hands!) is included. You will make at least two full baskets of your own soup dumplings, and while they are being steamed you’ll be served a selection of sweet & savory treats that are handmade on-site. At the end, you’ll get to eat all of your own soup dumplings and have a friendly competition with your fellow chefs to see who has the best preparation and finished product!
